So ........for Chads Birthday we went camping for the night at Trial Lake! We had so much fun. We were worried that the weather would not cooperate but it was nice. We saw a mommy and baby deer right by our tent and the mountain air was yummy! Nice birthday cake with pine needles for candles. The next morning after a great instant oatmeal breakfast we were off on an huge hike! We met mom and dad at the trail head of Baldy Mountain, 2 miles to summit. We all had a great time, the girls did great and so did grandpa. We were so proud! The view was amazing! We usually sit on the screen porch looking at baldy but now we were on top of the world looking down at clouds and birds!we had such a great time! Happy 39th Birthday Chad!
