Camping at Trial Lake!

So ........for Chads Birthday we went camping for the night at Trial Lake! We had so much fun. We were worried that the weather would not cooperate but it was nice. We saw a mommy and baby deer right by our tent and the mountain air was yummy! Nice birthday cake with pine needles for candles. The next morning after a great instant oatmeal breakfast we were off on an huge hike! We met mom and dad at the trail head of Baldy Mountain, 2 miles to summit. We all had a great time, the girls did great and so did grandpa. We were so proud! The view was amazing! We usually sit on the screen porch looking at baldy but now we were on top of the world looking down at clouds and birds!

Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday chad the dad! The girls made a fun banner all by themselves, they were so excited for him to drive home and open the garage! Last year in his thirty's! We love you Chad! You are the best

"TOUR de SNOWBASIN"

I think Chad and John have been watching a little to much TV, they think they are in the French alps. So they parked at McKay Dee Hospital and rode their bikes all the way up to Snowbasin.

So Becki and I met them up their and we took the gondola and ate a very yummy dinner with an amazing view!! I do suggest if you are planning to eat there maybe have it be a special occasion like birthday, anniversary, not just a because dinner. It was a little pricey!!!

Then, this same night Chad met his dad out on Antelope Island for a moonlight ride. Chad got home at about 2:30 am. He rode about 50 miles that day!! He is a rock star!!!

Cowboy Grandpa Dave

The Ogden Horse Parade: Cowboy grandpa started out this fun parade it is the most exciting part of the whole parade. Tons of beautiful horses and even candy! We saw some babies, Clydesdale's, miniature pony's to name a few. We all had a great time!

We had a great cousin fieldtrip! So fun !!! We took a tour to the Sweet Candy Company. Candy has never been so interesting and taste so fresh and oh so yummy! Then we took a trip to the Gateway to run in the fountains. And we went to Lagoon too much fun in two days!!
